We're delighted that NYS Assemblymember Kevin Cahill will open the conference with a welcome and an update on state policy from his vantage point as chairman of the Energy Committee.
Friday, Sept. 19 before dinner, conferencegoers and guests are invited to join two special tours:
Walking tour of the Kingston Green Trail - the Broadway corridor where SHV and partners are working on energy and environmental improvements - with Jennifer Schwartz, Deputy Director, Ulster County Planning Board and a team of graduate mentors from the Parsons School of Design who will be working this year with Kingston High School students on visions of the city's future.
Tour of the historic Seven21 Media Center with architect Brad Will and CEO Jeremy Ellenbogen, focusing on the renovations done and planned for this repurposed factory that is now a new media hub.
6 - 7:30 pm, we'll have a special dinner with Stacy Mitchell, author of Home Town Advantage and Big Box Swindle. $40 for general public, $25 for conferencegoers. You must reserve by calling 845-331-2670.
